We offer packages for groups of all kinds!

Birthday Parties! Celebrate a birthday with Hinton’s! Hinton’s Orchard can provide a fun place for birthday parties for kids of all ages in Spring, Summer, or Fall. Birthday parties get full access to the expanded Hinton’s FarmLand play area, a private hayride, and use of our covered pavilion and picnic tables. Parties can bring their own food and cake, or Hinton’s Kitchen can provide it for you. Each season brings different add on opportunities for your party – planting seeds in the spring, picking peaches in the summer, or apples and pumpkins in the fall. A bonfire and S’mores can be added to your party package in any season.

Party Packages are for up to 30 people (including adults). The birthday child is free! Spring and Summer parties--$79 Fall Parties (also include unlimited access to the corn maze) --$99

Parties larger than 30 can be accommodated. Contact us for details.

School Tours: We offer educational field trips for children of all ages. Most of our groups are from pre-school through 2nd grade, but we can work with a group of any age. We incorporate a fun-filled tour around the farm with core content materials that teach students about how our crops grow and why the crops are important to all of us. Your field trip will include a hayride through the orchard with stops to talk about apples and peaches, how they grow, what we do to take care of them, and how long it takes to grow an apple. Then we’ll go to the pumpkin patch to talk about how pumpkins grow and how they are like and different from apples. Children will get to pick their own pumpkin (in season) to take home. Next we’ll stop at the corn maze where you’ll get a quick lesson in growing corn and then test your skills going through the maze. Finally, we’ll stop in our market for a taste of fresh apple cider and a lesson on how we prepare apples for market and what you can do with the different varieties of apples! You’ll get to see us wash, sort, and bag apples, then put them on the shelf for someone (maybe you!) to buy. The rest of your time with us can be spent in our play area, playing in the corn box, with some of our many farm toys, sliding and climbing on the hay pile, or sitting on a real tractor! Students will also receive a bag of items promoting Kentucky Agriculture Products and each classroom will get a packet of materials that can be used for future lessons related to Kentucky Agriculture Products in our everyday lives! If you choose to bring along a sack lunch, our picnic area is available for your group’s use.

Church groups, Scout Groups, Family Reunions, & Others: We’re happy to customize an outing for groups of any size and age. Give us a call and we’ll discuss what you’d like to do and put together a package just for you! Activities available include hayride, corn maze (even more fun after dark with a flashlight!), pick your own pumpkin, bon fires, children’s play area, picnic area, apple tasting, or just a walk around our 48 acres! We’re always open to new ideas, so if you have something in mind that you’d like to do for your group . . . ask! We’ll do our best to make sure that you get just what you’re looking for when you visit Hinton’s Orchard & Farm Market!

Company Events: We'd like to open our farm for your company's next event. Whether a sit down dinner, or just a trip to the corn maze or pumpkin patch, Hinton's Orchard & Farm Market provides a great atmosphere to say thanks to those special employees or clients that make your business a success. We can coordinate with local caterers or with yours to provide a meal, as well as tons of family oriented fun.
